Federated Structure

Ronald McDonald House in Australia is made up of 12 legal entities, known as Chapters. These Chapters operate around Australia under a federated structure and work together under a joint venture agreement. Each Chapter is financially and operationally independent, with their own Board and management. And each is a registered charity, regulated by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission.

This structure allows each Chapter to provide unique support based on their location. Each Chapter has the local skills, knowledge and expertise to effectively support families in their time of need, regardless of their social, cultural or economic background.
