Workplace Giving is a simple and impactful way to support families with ill or injured children across Australia. By donating a small, regular amount from your pay, you can help families stay together, close to the care their child needs most.

When a child is in hospital, family stays. And with your support, so do we – surrounding families with accommodation, meals, and the care they need to stay strong through their child’s health journey.

$2 per pay week = $104 per year

Your donation could help cover costs of meals for families

$10 per pay week = $520 per year

Your donation could help stock a playroom with toys and books for families

How it works

Workplace Giving allows employees to give regular donations directly from their salary before tax – making giving easy, flexible and impactful.

You can get started in a way that suits your organisation:

For Individuals:

Set up regular donations each pay cycle

Complete registration form

You can search here to see if your employer participates in Good2Give. If they do, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign up with your workplace email address
    • If your employer has invited you, use the email link they sent to activate your account.
    • If your employer allows self‑registration, they will provide a company‑specific link. This will look something like: https://my.good2give.ngo/EmployerName.
  2. Once logged in, select the “Start giving now” button. From there, search for “Ronald McDonald House Australia” in the charity search, choose your donation amount, finalise your account details, and activate your account.

    Your donation will be sent to your payroll team for confirmation and deducted from your next pay. Once Good2Give has received your donation from your employer, they will pass your donation (and any employer matching) on to us.

For employers

There are a few simple ways to set up workplace giving, depending on your organisation’s payroll processes and systems.

  1. If you have received a Workplace Giving registration form from an employee, contact Ronald McDonald House Australia for our bank details at: [email protected]

  2. We will advise of what ‘reference code’ to use 

  3. Once deductions commence, email your remittance advice (where appropriate) to [email protected]

Employers can choose to introduce workplace giving across the organisation as part of their corporate social responsibility initiatives.

The employer first chooses the model that best fits their business:

  1. Payroll‑based giving (direct to charity)
    Employees choose a regular donation amount, payroll deducts each pay, and the employer remits the total to the Ronald McDonald House Australia. We can support you with setup guidance to help promote the program internally. Contact us on: [email protected]
  2. Platform‑based giving
    The employer uses an established workplace giving platform, such as Benevity or Good2Give, which manages employee sign‑ups, payroll integration and remittances. Employees can simply search for “Ronald McDonald House Australia” and start giving through your existing system.
